Palante Technology is elated to introduce and recommend a wonderful publication from the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic at Harvard Law School entitled PROTECT YOUR PEOPLE: A digital toolkit for organizations and employers to combat anti-LGBTQ+ harassment targeting their members. Palante, being digital security professionals who work with LGBTQ+ frontline activist organizations and individuals, is proud to have contributed to the above as consultants.
As we are all aware, 2023 was a tumultuous time for LGBTQ+ focused (or even adjacent) organizations and individuals, and 2024 looks to be no different. In order to combat this threat, the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic created this helpful guide to provide organizations a framework and helpful resources to understand the current threat landscape and form policy to better protect their most vulnerable employees. This is especially important leading up to an extremely polarized and decisive Presidential election campaign season that will inevitably result in an increase of stochastic terrorism and violence against LGTBQ+ peoples and organizations.
