We are warning all Palante clients to be careful about opening any remotely suspicious Google Docs emails today. Palante Tech Blog
Palante is excited to welcome our newest worker, Morgan Robinson! Morgan comes to us with a background in community development and geographic information systems. She describes herself as a devoted coop nerd and will be providing Palante clients with CiviCRM support. We're grateful to be working with Morgan and look forward to seeing her collaborate with Palante's client organizations!
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Jon Goldberg, a founding member of Palante Technology Cooperative, without whom we wouldn't be as stable and successful as we've become. After six years of membership that includes implementing CiviCRM for many of our clients, providing local tech support to those in New York City and helping strengthen our own financial and technical infrastructure, he's leaving for other endeavors.
Palante is excited to welcome Kristin Snelling on board as our newest worker! Kristin comes to us after years of working as a web developer, designer, project manager and creative and executive director at Radical Designs, another worker-owned coop dedicated to working with nonprofits; as you might imagine, she's dived into the work and is already providing Drupal, Backdrop and CiviCRM support and development to Palante clients. We're thrilled to be working with Kristin and are excited that Palante's client organizations will benefit from her expertise and experience.
Working with Backdrop and multiple versions of Drupal and trying to use Drush with all of them? Check out this guide I wrote for the Backdrop blog that walks through how to install multiple versions of Drush side-by-side and automatically use the right one for each of your projects.
Palante would like to announce that Jessie Lee has been voted in as Palante's newest worker-owner! Jessie joined Palante back in September and has been doing wonderful work to provide our clients with technical support. She has also helped to grow Palante's own internal technical infrastructure.
